Buffalo 456 (c/n #10) in Sitka, AK on the U.S. Coast Guard ramp.  We ( I was the co-pilot) had diverted there after a fire in the cockpit. (Junction Box-15 was the culprit). (Russell Ackland 1/96)

Buffalo 462 (c/n #(19)  in Tanquary Fiord (identifier JQ6) on Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic (about 78' North) in early June.  The annual mission is called 'Operation Hurricane' in which the Buffalo delivers 55 gallon fuel drums for a fuel depot.   This is the crew out in front of the aircraft.  I was the Captain (Russell Ackland), Co-Pilot (Chris Denko), Flight Engineers (Brain Harvey & Bill Johnson), Navigator (Marc Favre).  The strip is a great little gravel bar that is well suited to the operational capabilities of the Buffalo.  (Russell Ackland 6/97)
